Microsoft CityNext Italian Partner 2015

For the second year in a row, Proge-Software is the winner of the Microsoft CityNext Country Partner of the Year award for Italy.

STS – Surgery Touchless System – a Proge-Software’s solution for operating theaters – emerged among all the projects developed under the global program MicrosoftCityNext, aimed at improving city functions with innovative solutions taking advantage of new technologies.

Developed in collaboration with the Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, STS allows the control of biomedical images in touchless mode through Kinect for Windows, revolutionizing consultation process by the surgeon in the operating theater and it is now earning great interest from the healthcare sector.

The important award was delivered during the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conferencein Orlando, by Carlo Purassanta (CEO Microsoft Italy) and Simonetta Moreschini(Director Public Sector, Microsoft Italy) to Marco Meneo (Proge Software’s General Manager).
